Liquid

Liquid, a British dance act founded by Eamon Downes and Shane Heneghan, gained prominence with their iconic track "Sweet Harmony" in 1991. Layering CeCe Rogers' house hit "Someday" over breakbeats, the self-pressed white label Liquid EP marked their early success. Heneghan's departure led to a continued reputation for producing alternative dancefloor hits like "Time to Get Up" and "One Love Family." Collaborating with producer Jezz Wright at Blockhouse, Liquid achieved top 40 singles in the UK and various European hits. The NME hailed their XL Recordings album, Liquid Culture, as "sophisticated, soulful techno." The group has sustained a strong presence with live performances worldwide.
